Show your Local Love and help the most vulnerable in Saskatoon and Area as we respond to COVID-19.
Our local community is at its best when we support each other and work to keep everyone safe and cared for.
Today we are calling on you for your compassion, strong sense of local love, and urgent support to help individuals affected by COVID-19.
The Saskatoon Inter-Agency Response to COVID-19 is a group of 50 local organizations and agencies that have pivoted their work to the response for the most vulnerable. This group is a hub of community expertise in service delivery, and we are proud to be a part of mobilizing collaborative funding that is equitable, distributed swiftly, and is nimble as we face new challenges as the situation changes.
As members of this group, United Way of Saskatoon and Area and Saskatoon Community Foundation joined together to start the Saskatoon COVID-19 Community Response Fund to help those that need it the most during this time.

How will funds be used?
As the impact of COVID-19 on our community grows, so does the demand for resources. The donations raised through this fund will ensure agencies on the ground can continue their critical work in this time of need. The fund will support the most vulnerable, most at risk populations, including the elderly, those experiencing mental health and addiction issues, persons with disabilities, people experiencing homelessness, newcomers to our community, and others who may be impacted by this public health crisis. We also know this is an evolving situation, so we will be working diligently with our community partners to continue to monitor this situation and respond in the most effective manner.
Together we can keep our community strong.
