| Job Description | a skilled and motivated Computer Systems Technologist to volunteer for an exciting project involving the update and enhancement of our GPS AZURE smartphone app. The app is currently linked to Google Satellite maps behind a firewall but requires an update to the programming language code to accommodate the addition by the charity of interpretive stories at specific latitude and longitude coordinates. This update will allow smartphone users to access educational content relevant to their location, enhancing their afforestation area exploration experience as guardians for species at risk |
| Skills Required | Proficiency in computer systems technology and software development. Experience with programming languages mobile app development. Familiarity with GPS technology and location-based services. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. |
