Position Title Seniors Telephone Buddy Program
Job Description

The Saskatoon Council On Aging Telephone Buddy Program pairs volunteers with an older adult who is feeling isolated or lonely, who may have limited social and family connections, or feels they could benefit from more social interaction. Pre-schedule phone calls are tailored to meet the needs of the older adults to promote mental wellness. The Telephone Buddy program is free and is available to any adult who feels they could benefit from more social interaction.
Volunteers are expected to call their buddy weekly for a 15-30 minutes friendly conversation.
