Skills Required | We need board members with passion, experience, commitment and diversity. Passion: We need believers and promoters of our mission – to deliver as many life-changing wishes for children across this country and to ensure a sustainable infrastructure, engaged referral sources, and a funding network supported by donors and volunteers. Experience: We know that delivering our mission and achieving our priorities will require skills and strengths from new Directors to strategically support our leadership team in the areas of: • Financial Stewardship: You have an aptitude for financial analysis, can help position the organization for growth and ensure compliance. • Levering Digital Platforms: You know how to use technology platforms to connect with donors, sponsors and foundations and can work with our fundraisers to offer support and make a difference. • Fundraising: You understand the changing landscape of the sector that is impacting the ability of charities to achieve their mission. • Influencers: You stay relevant and have the ability to support wish children and families, raise awareness and support fundraising efforts across Canada |
