Position Title Volunteer Opportunities at the 2023 Saskatoon Fringe Festival
Job Description

Running from August 3rd through August 12th, the Saskatoon Fringe is a 10-day Festival in the
heart of the Broadway District of Saskatoon which celebrates the vibrant art created in our local
community and beyond. As a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, the
Saskatoon Fringe is a part of an international network of Fringe Festivals which provides a platform
for artists from around the world to travel across the country sharing their stories. The Saskatoon
Fringe is also home to a bustling outdoor festival featuring busking performances, artisan vendors,
carnival games, and more!

Volunteers are the heart of the Saskatoon Fringe. We are so thankful for those who choose to
spend their time volunteering with us. Fringe Volunteers assist in many areas – from the Set-Up
Crew to the Carnival Games, there are many unique opportunities to share your skills. This year,
some of our Volunteer areas include: Front of House, Carnival Games Attendant, Set Up Crew, Usher, Welcome/Information Roamer, and more!

Whether this is your 1st or 30th volunteer experience with us – we would love to hear from you! 25th Street Theatre and the Saskatoon Fringe Festival staff, board, and volunteers commit to creating and supporting a safe, inclusive environment for everyone in our community. We commit to anti-oppression language and behaviour and to honour diversity in age, race, ancestry, religion and spirituality, sex, gender identity, nation of origin, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and ability.
Benefits to Volunteer Saskatoon Fringe Volunteers are compensated for their time and energy with vouchers to see performances as well as a Volunteer Appreciation event.
