Our Focus Areas
At United Way, we are committed to solving unignorable social and economic issues including income inequality, poverty, racism, school readiness, affordable housing, mental health and access to services in order to create long-term change.
Through acts of local love that include, engaging and mobilizing community dollars, strengthening the network of services and capacity of non-profits, influencing public attitudes, systems and policies and understand and addressing underlying causes if these issues we will positively impact the lives of vulnerable children, youth and their families through three targeted investments areas.

211 Saskatchewan
Building stronger communities
United Way is leading the implementation of 211 throughout Saskatchewan to help improve access to services and support the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being for everyone in our province.
211 is a free, confidential, service that connects individuals to human services in the province by telephone, text, or online chat, plus a searchable website with over 6,000+ listings of community, government and non-clinical health services across the province.
Summer Success
Helping kids be all that they can be
Summer Success is a United Way initiative that takes an upstream approach in helping vulnerable children move towards grade level reading by tackling their summer learning loss.
Journey Home
Moving people from poverty to possibility
Journey Home gives people who have experienced chronic homelessness an opportunity to have a place to call home while receiving support that helps them through their journey to stability and recovery.

The Saskatoon Collaborative Funding Partnership is a unique collaboration of three Saskatoon and area funding organizations. Under United Way of Saskatoon and Area’s partnership with the Prince Albert and Area Community Foundation, United Way administers investments to local programs in Prince Albert and area. Learn More.
