Position Title Volunteer Tutor – Saskatoon
Job Description

A volunteer tutor works with children, youth, or adults, depending on the age group they are most comfortable working with. Once paired with a student, the volunteer tutor works one-on-one with the learner to help them with reading, writing, math, science, French, etc). Tutoring sessions can be held online via zoom or in-person at a public library. Skills Required No teaching experience required. Communication skills, empathy, adaptability and flexibility, social skills, working with diverse populations, time management, organizational skills, active listening skills, willingness to work at the learner's pace and skill level, ability to make learning engaging.
