Period Promise: A New Name, the Same Mission

For years, United Way Saskatoon and our labour partners have worked to address period poverty through Tampon Tuesday—raising awareness and providing free menstrual products to those who need them. Now, we’re excited to continue this work under a new name: Period Promise.

The goal remains the same: to ensure that everyone who menstruates has access to the products they need to fully participate in work, school, and daily life. Period products are a basic necessity, yet too many people in our community face barriers to accessing them. By supporting Period Promise, you help remove those barriers. Every donation—whether products or funds—helps fight stigma, raise awareness, and make a real impact for individuals experiencing period poverty.

Together, we can create a community where no one is held back by their period. Join us in making this promise a reality.
