How to donate during a postal service disruption

As you may be aware, Canada Post workers are currently on strike. United Way Saskatoon and Area has a positive and long-standing partnership with Labour in Canada and remain strongly committed to our ongoing partnership. It is our hope that the parties will return to the bargaining table and reach a fair and equitable agreement.

During this time, there may be disruptions in mail services, which could delay donation processing. To ensure your support continues to make an immediate impact, we encourage you to consider donating through the below four alternative ways:

  1. Call us. We’d love to hear from you and the process is quick and easy. Simply call 306-975-7700 today.
  2. Stop by the office. We are always up for a visit! Our office located in the Community Village (YWCA building – 100-506 25th Street East) and our hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  3. Donate online. You can make a gift through a secure Donorbox link.
  4. Email transfer. Simply send your email transfer to to donate@unitedwaysaskatoon.ca and fill in this secure form so that we can link you to your donation for a tax receipt. A password is not required as United Way of Saskatoon & Area is set up for auto-deposit.

The team at United Way is here to help, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions at 306-975-7700 or by email at office@unitedwaysaskatoon.ca.
