Job Description	Looking to make a difference? Prairie Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to join our volunteer team. Over the years we have trained over 200 volunteers – look at some of their stories. Or take a moment to listen to them. As a volunteer, you’ll offer practical, emotional non medical support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, wherever they call home. 🌟 Activities May Include: Friendly visits Going for walks Playing games Listening to music Writing or recording life stories Help with organizing and sorting Providing respite to families Offering rides Supporting families after the loss of a loved one
Skills Required	Non-judgemental, compassionate, willingness to talk to others. This role is predominantly in person, working one-on-one with a client. Weekday availability and being able to give rides to clients are assets.
