Event Volunteer – Fraser Institute Founders’ Award honouring the Semple Family

The Fraser Institute Founders’ Award, named after founders T. Patrick Boyle and Michael A. Walker, is the Institute’s highest honour. The award is presented annually to individuals in recognition of their exceptional entrepreneurial achievements, generous philanthropic endeavors and dedication to competitive markets.

This year, the Fraser Institute is celebrating the Semple Family for their contributions to Saskatchewan and Canadian business by hosting our first Founders’ Award Gala in Regina on June 18th. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable volunteers to support the event.

Event Details
Location: The Conexus Arts Centre
Time: 2pm to 9:30 pm
Dress Code: Business professional/cocktail attire. Volunteers are welcome to wear sneakers or flats during set-up and change before guests arrive.

Role Description:
– Event and registration set-up
– Greet attendees and assist in finding their name tags
– Directing attendees to their seats once the program starts
– Event Clean-up

Day of Schedule:
Thursday June 18, 2026
2pm Volunteer Arrival
2pm – 5:30 pm Event set up
5:30 pm Registration Opens
5:30 – 6:30 pm Reception
6:30 pm Official Program starts
6:45 pm Volunteers are welcome to find their seat
9:10 pm Volunteers back at the registration table
9:10 – 9: 30 pm Event Clean Up
9:30 pm Volunteer Shift Ends
