| Job Description | We are seeking volunteers—from high school students to retired teachers and all community members who want to make a meaningful difference—to support children in Grades 2–4 who are reading below grade level. Key Responsibilities |
| Skills Required | • Patience, empathy, and interest in supporting children • Basic reading fluency • High school students are welcome; retired teachers and seniors are strongly encouraged • Criminal Record Check required Training Requirements All volunteers must complete: • Supporting Reading Success (2 hour volunteer training) o Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026 o Time: 5:30–7:30 PM o Location: To Be Announced Training is designed for all backgrounds—no teaching experience required. |
