Position Title	Reading Buddies Volunteer – Saskatoon
Job Description	Reading Buddies is a daytime program that takes place in Saskatoon at various elementary schools. The volunteer reader works 1-1 with children in Grades 1-4, helping boost their confidence and reading ability in a quiet and welcoming environment. The volunteer dedicates 1-2hr on the same day each week to read with a few students. Skills Required	No teaching experience required. Communication skills, empathy, adaptability and flexibility, social skills, working with diverse populations, time management, organizational skills, active listening skills, willingness to work at the learner's pace and skill level, ability to make learning engaging.
